The host Red Barons used a decisive 20-10 advantage in the third quarter to pull out the win. SUNY Broome had been down just 24-25 at halftime.
Khadhija Randall turned in a season-best game, notching a career-high 13 points on 5-11 shooting and 3-5 from three-point range. She also added five rebounds.
Adrianna Finta led the Hornets with 16 points, adding seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Nnyala Stark scored six points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Juliana Turner had five points and six rebounds. Zephora Brouillette grabbed nine rebounds.
