The Hornets responded with a much better second half, putting 38 points on the board compared to the Timberwolves' 39 points in the half, but by then the deficit was too much to come back from.
SUNY Broome ultimately struggled to shoot the ball in the matchup, going 23-64 (35.9%) from the field, 7-25 (28%) from three-point range, and 8-21 (38.1%) from the free throw line.
Dejon Williams led the Hornets in scoring with 12 points. He added eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks. Williams was the only Hornet to reach double digits as Braeden Davis and Joshua Bernard were next in the scoring department with nine points each. Bernard just missed a double-double with nine rebounds.
SUNY Broome fell to 3-2 with the loss.
