The men's soccer team lost a 6-0 decision to Onondaga CC on the road on Wednesday.
Onondaga netted their first goal of the contest less than 20 minutes in, and added a second goal around four minutes later to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
The Hornets stayed within two goals of the Lazers for about half of the second half. Twenty minutes into the second stanza, Onondaga began to break out with more scoring. The Lazers added four second-half goals in a span of about 14 minutes to arrive at the 6-0 win.
Charles Larrabee led the Hornets with two shots while Jacob Sansom added one.
Andriy Grave got the start in goal for SUNY Broome and collected five saves.
The Hornets will look to rebound this weekend with a back-to-back, visiting Fulton-Montgomery CC on Saturday and hosting SUNY ESF on Sunday. Hornets' sophomores will be recognized during the match on Sunday.
