The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced their All-Academic awards today for the 2024-25 track & field season.
The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their All-Academic awards today for the 2024-25 track & field season.
Amber Neumuth, a member of the 2024-25 women's track & field team, was recognized as an NJCAA Women's Track & Field All-Academic Athlete.
This award title is given to all student-athletes who were nominated for the award who meet the criteria of:
- 3.40 GPA or higher for academic term of participation (track & field- spring)
- Student-athlete must be considered full-time (12 hours or more) unless a special exemption exists from the NJCAA
- Must be listed on either Regional or National roster
The 2024-25 SUNY Broome women's track & field team ended the season with a team GPA of 3.33, which satisfied the requirement for being named an NJCAA Women's Track & Field All-Academic Team (minimum 3.20 GPA), however the Hornets did not qualify for the recognition on the basis of team size. The award required a minimum of 10 athletes on roster, and SUNY Broome rostered eight student-athletes this season.
Congratulations to Amber on her individual achievement and to the women's track & field team on meeting the GPA standard for being recognized as an All-Academic Team by the USTFCCCA!
