Women Shutout By NJCAA's 2nd Ranked

The women's soccer team fell to the NJCAA's 2nd ranked team in the country, the Erie Kats, by a score of 4-0 Friday afternoon at Alumni Field.  The Hornets (6-4-1) competed for ninety minutes but failed to get on the board while the visiting Kats (10-2-1) got on the board four times.

Erie got 2 goals from Sam Carey and 1 goal apiece from Rachel Fiore and Hannah Parucki.  The visitors came out on top of shots on goal 16-8, and corner kicks 8-2. 
Broome looks to halt their 3-game skid this Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Alumni Field when they host Clinton CC.
