Annie Tokos was recognized for her efforts the past two years in the Hornets' last game of the 2016-17 season. Despite her 15 rebounds and 7 blocks, Broome fell to Jefferson 60-53 at home on Tuesday night.
Jefferson took a 32-17 lead into the half and extended that lead to 17 points early in the third quarter before Broome chipped away at the visitor's lead, outscoring the Cannoneers, 27-10 and took a 44-42 lead at the end of the third. Jefferson responded with 18 points in the fourth quarter for the 60-53 road win.
Ana Farahane led all scorers with 23 points, 17 of those coming in the second half, and added 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Courtney Petticoffer added 11 points and Graci Standish-Warpus chipped in with 9 points. Riley Luckie led Jefferson with 16 points.
