The women's basketball team fell to nationally ranked Mohawk Valley CC Sunday in a Region III home game. The 3rd ranked Hawks got out to a 24-11 lead after the first quarter and never looked back enroute to a 93-48 victory. The Hornets were led by Ellen Armstrong with 8 points, Graci Standish-Warpus and Sam Acuna chipped in with 7 points each. The Hawks saw three players with 15 points to lead their charge.
Broome will look for their first win of the season on Tuesday evening in the Baldwin Gym at 6:00 p.m. against Columbia-Greene in a Region III contest.
