Men's Soccer Shutout At Home

SUNY Broome keeper making a sliding save
vs Genesee
The men's soccer team fell to Genesee CC 4-0 on Saturday in a Region III contest played at Alumni Field.  Broome battled hard but lost at home for the first time all year to the visiting Cougars, currently ranked #3 in the latest NJCAA poll.  Broome hit the post multiple times, forcing the Genesee keeper into some fantastic saves, but the host team couldn't place the ball in the net.  Genesee led at the half 1-0 before adding three more goals in the second half.  Luke Duncan was able to stop 10 shots on goal for Broome.

Broome will take a 13-4 overall, 11-4 in Region III record into the Region III Championships beginning next week.
